Some information about the ALIA Qld Committee Members:

Kim Lewin, ALIA QLD Convenorkimlewin

Kim is currently employed as the Associate Director, Library at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane. Her career encompasses academic, state and TAFE libraries.

Kim’s interests include designing better user experiences, space and design, educational technology, and workplace learning. Kim is passionate about quality customer service and ensuring that equitable services are provided to all. She is a highly organised and dedicated person with a positive attitude. Kim has the ability to think strategically, in a non-linear and holistic way and thrives on working in a challenging environment.

Fiona is a Customer Support Officer – MultiMedia with Logan City Council Community, Libraries & Cultural Services. In 2014 she completed QUT’s Masters in Information Technology, Libraries & Information Science.

Fiona is keen in making a difference (where possible) for all that encompasses the profession. Through partnerships and collaborations with industry peers, she believes personal and professional development includes learning that enables the sharing of knowledge and transferable skill-sets.
